The village of Kalami can be found nestled between the bay of Agni and the natural harbour of Kouloura on the North East coast of Corfu. This tranquil bay has the perfect balance of beauty and peace where you are guaranteed a warm welcome by the locals. A short 10 minute drive from your villa will find you in this perfect haven where you have the choice of soaking up the sun on the beach, enjoying a delicious meal in one of the local tavernas or taking full advantage of your holiday status by starting a little early on those cocktails in one of the great bars. For those with a more adventurous spirit there is a fab selection of watersports available.
Heading further up the mountain, you will find yourself in the small traditional village of Vingla. The name Vingla in Greek means “look-out point” or “beacon” and it was from this point many years ago that the locals would be able to spot any enemy pirate ships approaching the island and send the alarm to all the inhabitants to retreat to the other side of the mountain out of the attackers way!
